I. Core Benefits of Using RFID Event Management Tags
Applying RFID technology to event management, by building a real-time, automated data collection network for personnel, materials and key nodes, brings revolutionary improvements to event operations: achieving large-scale, precise and unmanned operations; ensuring fairness, impartiality and professional authority of events; creating an immersive, integrated excellent experience; driving data-based decision-making and value extension.
XGSunThe RFID event management tags developed and produced can safeguard the construction of a complete and intelligent event system for you!
II.RFID Event Management Tagsmain types
The successful application of RFID technology in event management relies heavily on dedicated tags designed for different management objects and scenarios.

RFID sports timing tag
This is the most core tag type of the event with the highest technical requirements, designed specifically to capture precise data at the moment athletes pass at high speed.
Core features:
High precision and high reliability: such asXGSunthe recently launched world's first Dogbone M830 RFID Marathon Foam Timing Label, the reading distance can reach 13m. Beneath the PET waterproof surface material, a layer of 1mm/3mm thick foam is added, keeping the tag at an appropriate distance from the human body and thereby ensuring more stable reading performance. The tag is easy to use: simply peel it off and stick it directly onto the sports bib.
Strong anti-interference and group reading capability: To prevent information from being unreadable if a single tag falls off or is damaged, two RFID tags are usually attached to the bib number. Based on the UHF band anti-collision algorithm, tags can be read in batches simultaneously when runners cross the finish line in dense groups, with no missed reads, ensuring the integrity of results in large-scale events.
Typical applications: start, finish, and en-route timing points requiring precise timing in marathons, triathlons, cycling, trail running, and more.

RFID Tickets
Typically made of double-sided coated paper, enabling double-sided printing of ticket content; contactless rapid verification enables second-level touchless entry, ensuring efficient admission during high passenger flow; high-security encryption and anti-counterfeiting thoroughly eliminate the risk of fake tickets. Typical applications: event spectator entry verification and zone access control, cashless consumption within venues, interactive checkpoint check-in experiences, and full-link post-event data analysis, providing real-time insights for operational decisions.
RFID Wristband
Comfortable to wear and durable: made of flexible materials such as silicone and fabric, waterproof and sweatproof, suitable for long-term wear. Typical applications: check-in for athletes and staff, area access management; ticket validation for spectators, in-venue purchases, locker use, and check-ins at interactive points.
RFID Shoelace Tag
The tag uses ultra-thin flexible PVC material and can be easily secured to a participant's shoelaces, ensuring comfortable wear and freedom of movement while achieving stable long-range reading with millisecond-level timing accuracy. Typical applications: long-distance events such as marathons, trail running, and triathlons, where it serves as a key medium for athlete identification and results collection.
RFID Asset ManagementManagement tags (flexible anti-metal/anti-metal tags)
Optimized specifically for attachment to metal surfaces (such as timing equipment, some sports equipment, and vehicles), it can effectively overcome metal interference with RF signals and ensure stable reading performance. Typical applications: cameras, bicycles, triathlon and other competition equipment, temporary facilities, and rapid inventory and inbound/outbound management of valuable reusable materials.
